GrC 338 - Digital Content Management & Variable Data Printing: "GrC City Brochure"
This was a group project that was to be used as a fictional campaign to draw new students into the Graphic Communication major. This particular part of the project required my group to choose a theme and create a brochure that described the various concentrations within the major. This is a view of the front (right) and the back (left) of the brochure. My group chose the theme "Sin City" since the film was very popular at the time. The front was various members in my group posing as the characters in the film. We decided to have a photoshoot with studio lighting. They were then turned into high contrast black and white photos. I pieced them together and lightly colored the skin tones to imitate the cover of the DVD. The back was pieced together in a pulp comic style using promotional photos from the film, a few frames from the comic, various photos of our group (in the four corners), as well as various teachers hand drawn in a comic book style by myself. The final brochure was put together in Adobe InDesign and output on a digital press.
